WOUND, a Novel Film-Forming Wound Dressing, Has Been Highly Appreciated at 8th Annual Conference of Wound Management Association of Ho Chi Minh City

On June 10, 8th Annual Conference of Wound Management Association of Ho Chi Minh City was successfully held at Windsor Plaza Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City. With the objective  of sharing experiences and updating the best wound care solutions for patients, the topic “Preparing the wound bed – Updating on treatment of infected wounds” had attracted a lot of attention from experts and doctors.

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Anh Tuan, chairman of Wound Management Association of Ho Chi Minh City, gave the opening speech at the conference.

At this conference, DTP MEDICAL is honored to participate as a co-sponsor with an exhibiting booth to introduce doctors to an advanced solution  in wound care: WOUND – A novel film-forming wound dressing from Switzerland to simplify wound care.

With a special formula from the synergistic effect of Neem oil and St. John’s Wort oil, WOUND has impressed wound care professionals with its film-forming technology to create a moist environment that activates physiological wound healing. Not only helps to heal wounds quickly, WOUND also ensures that the wound care process takes place in a simple, safe and effective way.

At the DTP MEDICAL booth, the wound experts and doctors had the opportunity to approach and experience an innovative technology in wound care firsthand.

WOUND is considered an ideal wound treatment product with its impressive granulation induction and cell proliferation, infection prevention, moist environment creation, maceration resistance,   wound edge protection  and peri-wound management.

Experts and doctors are particularly interested in the clinical studies that demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of WOUND in wound care and treatment.

Dr. Tran Doan Dao – Vice Chairman of Wound Management Association of HCM City discussed the main advantages of WOUND.

Dr. Tran Doan Dao highly appreciates the benefits of WOUND, especially its protective and regenerative properties. During the healing process, the wound edge and periwound are very vulnerable to the discharge of exudates from the wound, causing infection and pain for the patient (maceration). WOUND is one of the best solutions to help manage and protect the wound edges and peri-wound effectively due to the hydrophobic properties of fatty acids presenting in WOUND.
