Anamel is suitable for all ages.

That’s possible. The ointment is suitable for all ages, including very young people. AnaMel works well against (complaints due to) diaper rash.

Immediately after you have applied AnaMel, you may experience a slight stinging sensation. Don’t worry, it will disappear after a few seconds/minutes.

It is recommended not using the product for more than 30 days at a time. If you use it for a longer period of time, you may experience some irritation and/or slight pain. After a break of a few days, you can use the honey ointment again.

That’s right. The tube is filled by weight and not by the size of the tube. The tube is deliberately larger than the contents, because the ointment is still sterilized in the tube itself. Because this process causes the ointment to expand, the tube would burst if it was too full. Hence, it may seem like there is not enough in it, but this is certainly the case.

Store between 4 °C and 30 °C.

  1. Unscrew the white cap from the tube.
  2. Turn the cap over.
  3. Open the tube by pushing the tip of the cap through the tube opening. (Note: do not use sharp objects to open the tube. This may result in pieces of the sealing membrane coming loose and discomfort during use.)
  4. Apply an amount of ointment to your fingertip. Apply it to the skin around and possibly in the anus. Massage the ointment lightly.
  5. Always replace the cap on the tube after use.
  6. Apply the ointment two to four times a day.

Do not use this product if you are known to be allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

No. So you can safely use the ointment for a longer period of time. But beware: do not use AnaMel for more than 30 days in a row. Treatment for more than 30 days in a row may result in discomfort to the patient, such as irritation and/or mild pain. It is recommended stopping after 30 days, after a break the ointment can be used again.

There is no evidence to suggest that AnaMel should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

AnaMel helps to reduce complaints such as itching, burning, irritated skin and/or wounds around the anus. Although it is mainly used for external complaints, Anamel may also be applied in the anus.

The product is basically made for the treatment of complaints around the anus. However, if we look at the ingredients of the product, the product can also be used near the vagina. However, you may experience a tingling sensation. We would also like to inform you that the product may help you with wounds around your vagina, but that it will not be helpful against, for example, a yeast infection.

Yes! AnaMel does contain peanut oil (arachis oleum), but in refined form. That is, the proteins that can cause an allergic reaction have been removed.

The advice is not to use the product AnaMel. The product is not recommended if you are known to be hypersensitive to honey or any of the other ingredients.

Since you indicate that you have an allergy to honey with food, it is not recommend for the use of AnaMel.

In the first few minutes after application, the product may cause a slight stinging sensation. The stinging sensation is probably caused by the low pH value and the high osmolarity of the honey. It does not affect the operation of the product.
