What is DerMel Wound Dressing?

DerMel Wound Dressing is a gauze dressing (8×8 cm) impregnated with pure honey for use in wound treatment and produced under controlled conditions. This controlled production process guarantees that DerMel Wound Dressing contains no residues of pesticides and is always of the same reproducible high quality. The honey used in DerMel Wound Dressing is rich in honey enzymes, including glucose oxidase. Thanks to the high sugar concentration, some moisture from the wound exudate mixes with DerMel Wound Dressing to form a layer that reinforces the antibacterial protection provided by the wound dressing.
