Sterile gauze (Polyacetate mesh dressing), impregnated with 100% Mel (revamil honey).
DerMel Wound Dressing can be used on various types of wounds such as:
- Decubitis
- Several types of ulcers
- Infected wounds
- Acute wounds
- Surgical and radiation-induced oncological wounds
- Small burns (1st and 2nd degree)
- If necessary, clean the wound in the usual way.
- Open the packaging at the top by tearing the seal open and removing the protective film covering the gauze.
- Take the gauze dressing out of the packaging and place it over the wound.
- Secure the gauze in the usual way, e.g. using self-adhesive porous tape.
- The gauze may also be covered with a secondary bandage, which is then secured in the usual way.
- Remove the dressing carefully after one to three days (maximum), and replace it with a new DerMel Wound Dressing if necessary.
Store at 10 °C – 30 °C.
DerMel Wound Dressing does not contain ingredients of animal origin (definition of animals excludes honeybees, according to EU guidelines).
No preservatives are added to DerMel Wound Dressing.
Do not apply this product for more than 30 consecutive days. Treatment for more than 30 consecutive days could cause the patient discomfort such as irritation and/or soreness.
Do not use this product if you are known to be allergic or hypersensitive to honey. An allergic reaction or hypersensitivity can cause redness, irritation and/or soreness of the skin or wound.
