That’s possible. The ointment is suitable for all ages, including very young people. DerMel Skin Ointment works well against (complaints due to) diaper rash.
Immediately after you have lubricated DerMel Skin Ointment, you may experience a slight stinging sensation. Don’t worry, it will disappear after a few seconds/minutes.
It is recommended not using the product for more than 30 days at a time. If you use it for a longer period of time, you may experience some irritation and/or slight pain. After a break of a few days, you can use the honey ointment again.
That’s right. The tube is filled by weight and not by the size of the tube. The tube is deliberately larger than the contents, because the ointment is still sterilized in the tube itself. Because this process causes the ointment to expand, the tube would burst if it was too full. Hence, it may seem like there is not enough in it, but this is certainly the case.
Store between 4 °C and 30 °C.
- Unscrew the white cap from the tube.
- Turn the cap over.
- Open the tube by pushing the tip of the cap through the tube opening. (Note: Do not use sharp objects to open the tube. This may result in pieces of the sealing membrane coming loose and discomfort during use).
- Apply the ointment thinly several times a day and massage in lightly.
- Always replace the cap on the tube after use.
Do not use this product if you are known to be allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
No. So you can safely use the ointment for a longer period of time. But beware: do not use DerMel Skin Ointment for more than 30 days in a row. Treatment for more than 30 days in a row may result in discomfort to the patient, such as irritation and/or mild pain. It is recommended stopping after 30 days, after a break the ointment can be used again.
There is no evidence to suggest that DerMel Skin Ointment should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
DerMel Skin Ointment can be used excellently for recovery from diaper rash. It can also be used preventively, because of the greasy consistency, the ointment forms a protective layer over the skin. Before you apply the ointment, it is important to dry the skin thoroughly. It is not necessary to combine DerMel Skin Ointment with zinc oxide, or apply it after zinc oxide.
DerMel Skin Ointment should only be used externally. If DerMel Skin Ointment is used for an external wound near the nostril and it accidentally ends up in the nostril, this can do no harm.
The advice is not to use Dermel Skin Ointment. The product is not recommended if you are known to be hypersensitive to honey or any of the other ingredients.
Since you indicate that you have an allergy to honey with food, we do not recommend the use of DerMel Skin Ointment.
In the first few minutes after application, the product may cause a slight stinging sensation. The stinging sensation is probably caused by the low pH value and the high osmolarity of the honey. It does not affect the operation of the product.
