On November 25, 2022, Dai Thuan Phat Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Co., Ltd. (DTP MEDICAL) successfully organized a scientific conference “Wound care procedure and solutions to reduce scars from the early stage after plastic surgery” at Korean Star Hospital, Ho Chi Minh city.
The conference provides an opportunity for famous speakers and plastic surgeons to connect and exchange clinical experiences, as well as to discuss WOUND – New technology to help heal wounds faster and reduce scars right after surgery.
Participants includes Assoc. Prof. Le Hanh – Chairman of Vietnamese Society of Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery (VSAPS), PhD. Le Ton Dung – Lecturer of Plastic Surgery Department, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Dr. Phan Thi Hong Vinh – Lecturer of Plastic Surgery Department, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Pharmacist Samson Soon and Dr. Rob Hollweg from BAP MEDICAL, Netherlands and nearly 100 plastic surgeons from hospitals and medical clinics in Ho Chi Minh city.


The symposium was successfully organized under the chairmanship of PhD. Le Ton Dung with three scientific report sessions and one highly dynamic discussion session between specialists and doctors.





Assoc. Prof. Le Hanh gave a speech, shared his valuable clinical experiences in the conference and emphasized the importance of WOUND to speed up the wound healing process and reduce scarring from the early stages after plastic surgery.


Following three main reporting sessions, the conference concluded with a discussion session on WOUND – an innovative technology to help heal wounds faster and reduce scars right after surgery. At the discussion session, in-depth questions were raised and discussed enthusiastically by plastic surgeons.

Valuable reports and sharing from the experts at the conference, to some extent, have helped plastic surgeons better understand the wound care procedure as well as solutions to reduce scars from the early stages right after plastic surgery, then applying in clinical practice to improve the aesthetic effectiveness after surgery.
