On 6-7 December, 2025, The 25th Annual International Aesthetic Science Conference (HSAPS 2025), organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, concluded successfully at Military Hospital 175. The event reaffirmed its position as one of the most reputable academic platforms in the fields of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine in Vietnam.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hanh (President of Vietnamese Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) delivered the opening speech.

As one of the largest scientific events of the year, HSAPS 2025 served as a forum for aesthetic plastic surgeons and aesthetic dermatologists – both domestic and international – to exchange clinical experiences and share the latest scientific researches. At this scientific meeting, DTP MEDICAL was honored to participate as a co-sponsor, presenting clinically-proven solutions in wound care (WOUND – DERMEL) and scar management (BAPSCARCARE – ALHYDRAN – CINOSCAR). Among these, ALHYDRAN, powered by MMRC technology, drew notable attention for its proven effectiveness to improve scar appearance and reduce redness and itching after wound closure.

A key highlight of the event was the scientific presentation delivered by Dr. Phan Thi Hong Vinh, Lecturer of Plastic Surgery Department, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, titled: “Comprehensive Scar Management after Aesthetic Surgery: The Role of Essential Fatty Acids and MMRC Technology.”

The presentation emphasized the importance of early and continuous intervention – from the unepithelialized phase to wound closure – and clarified the role of essential fatty acids (WOUND) in optimizing wound healing and preventing early scar formation.

Dr. Phan Thi Hong Vinh also indicated the MMRC technology (ALHYDRAN) as an effective long-term solution after wound closure to reduce redness, itching, and scarring, thereby contributing to better cosmetic outcomes. This approach received notable interest from cosmetic doctors at HSAPS 2025, marking a promising direction for scar reduction after aesthetic surgeries.
