On June 15, 2024, DTP MEDICAL honored the 9th Annual Conference of Wound Management Association of Ho Chi Minh City as a co-sponsor and introduced the advanced solutions in wound care and scar management.
Wound care and scar management products distributed exclusively by DTP MEDICAL have attracted a lot of attention from wound experts and doctors participating in conference: WOUND – A novel film-forming wound dressing to simplify wound treatment, DerMel Wound Dressing – A specialized solution for chronic and hard-to-heal wounds, BAPSCARCARE – New generation medical silicone to help manage the abnormal scars and ALHYDRAN Barrier Repair Care/ ALHYDRAN Anti Itch Care – Itch management and skin tightness after burns.

The 9th annual meeting is an important forum for medical experts to share knowledge, clinical experiences and advanced treatment methods, all of which contribute to improving patient care quality.
The conference, themed “Hard-to-Heal Wounds Treatment and Basic Solutions for Treating Infected Wounds,” drew the attention of experts and doctors from Vietnam, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
Conference Chairman – Dr. Vu Huu Thinh delivered the opening speech at the conference.
At the conference, WOUND impressed the wound care experts and nurses with its effectiveness and safety for acute and chronic wounds, particularly those with underlying diseases.
With a special formula from the synergistic effect of Neem oil and St. John’s Wort oil, WOUND’s film layer creates a moist wound environment for optimal wound healing. WOUND not only helps wounds heal quickly, but it also makes the wound care simpler and more convenient.

Wound experts and doctors also expressed the high interest in clinical studies demonstrated at the DTP MEDICAL booth. Especially, clinical researches on WOUND and DerMel Wound Dressing have received special attention due to its positive results in promoting wound healing, impressive granulation tissue proliferation, infection control, maceration prevention and protecting wound edges and peri-wound in hard-to-heal wounds.
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Anh Tuan, chairman of Wound Management Association of Ho Chi Minh City, attracted by the strong clinical studies of WOUND and DerMel Wound Dressing.

Representative of DTP MEDICAL and Product Specialist from BAP MEDICAL – Mr. Samson Soon discussed with Dr. Tran Doan Dao – Vice Chairman of Wound Management Association of HCM City
Dr. Tran Doan Dao has appreciated the benefits of WOUND, especially its simple-to-use feature (self-care). With WOUND, patients and patients’ relatives can be involved in the wound care. Besides, WOUND’s non-touch application helps reduce the risk of infection.
In addition to WOUND spray, DerMel Wound Dressing has drawn the doctors’ attention at conference. DerMel Wound Dressing, a polyacetate mesh dressing impregnated with 100% Mel (revamil honey), is rich in Glucose oxidase enzyme to create Hydrogen peroxide to provide a strong antibacterial effect. Thanks to the high sugar concentration and low pH (acid level), some moisture from the wound exudate mixes with DerMel Wound Dressing to form a layer that reinforces the antibacterial protection provided by the wound dressing, while providing a moist wound environment to stimulate wound healing.

Dr. Le Huu Phuoc, Deputy Head of Burns and Reconstructive Surgery Department, Children’s Hospital 1, has appreciated DerMel Wound Dressing for its ease of use and non- sticky to wounds, so it will not compromise the underlying wound bed nor cause pain on removal.
Dr. Mai Trong Tuong, Head of Department of Microplastic Surgery, Hospital for Traumatology and Orthopedics, HCM City
BAPSCARCARE – New generation medical silicone therapy to help manage abnormal scars has gained a lot of attention from doctors. BAPSCARCARE is used immediately after the wound closure, and this is a safe and effective option to prevent the formation of abnormal scars after surgeries.

With ingredients containing medical-grade silicone and Vitamin E, BAPSCARCARE Gel stands out from other scarcare products on the market with its competitive advantages of efficacy, convenience and size diversity.
BAPSCARCARE Gel is a transparent gel, dries quickly and brings the soft feeling on the skin. These benefits make doctors excited when experiencing the product.
DTP MEDICAL also introduced to doctors ALHYDRAN Barrier Repair Care and ALHYDRAN Anti Itch Care to help manage itching and tightness on skin after burns, all of which contribute to improving the patient’s quality of life during and after discharge from the hospital.

ALHYDRAN Barrier Repair Care and ALHYDRAN Anti Itch Care work through dual mechanism: the strong moisturizing (hydrating) of more than 45% pure Aloe Vera Aruba Gel and the occlusive effect of fatty acids. They help restore moisture balance within 2 hours, instantly soothe the skin and relieve skin symptoms after the burn injuries.
Representative of DTP MEDICAL and Product Specialist from BAP MEDICAL – Mr. Samson Soon discussed with Assoc.
